Facilities Plants New Trees Around Campus

Trees are our connection to the natural world and a treasured part of our campus. Columbia University Facilities has recently replaced some damaged or diseased trees on the streets around campus. New trees around campus include:

  • Four Honey Locust trees on the west side of Amsterdam near 119th Street
  • One Ginkgo tree on the east side of Amsterdam near 118th Street
  • Three Pear trees on Morningside Drive between 116th and 118th Streets
  • One Ginkgo tree on the east side Broadway near the 115th Strret farmer's market stands
  • Seven Kousa Dogwood trees in the East Campus raised planter facing Morningside Park
